The young batsman of twenty two years was on ninety four in the second Test match being played against England on Friday when he walked down the track and slapped the ball over the long on boundary for a six to bring up his hundred. This was Jaiswal’s second Test hundred after he had made a brilliant career last year by scoring a massive 171 on his Test debut against West Indies.

He attended the Indian team which bagged the Gold Medal in the Asian Games in 2023 and was also part of the team that finished as the finalists in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in the year 2020,
